CPRA/Geidankyo welcomed trainees from Asian and African Countries

On August 31, CPRA/Geidankyo welcomed 12 officials of IP-related government offices from Republic of Colombia, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Laos, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Nepal, Republic of the Philippines, Republic of Tunisia, Ukraine, Egypt and Democratic Republic of the Congo as trainees. It was held as part of a JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) training program.

We introduced our organizational structure, outline of performer's rights in Japan and so on. We think it is important to help developing countries improve their copyright systems and actively cooperate with such training programs.
